Das Neuhäuseler Arboretum wurde 1961-66 vom damaligen Forstamt Neuhäusel in Zusammenarbeit mit der Forstbaumschule Pein und Pein angelegt und später erweitert. Es beherbergt heute auf 2,1 Hektar Fläche 160 verschiedene Baumarten mit über 500 Individuen. Hinzu kommt noch ein Schutzstreifen aus serbischer Fichte und Sudetenlärche. Ein ausführliches Arteninventar ist auf der u.a. Website zu finden. Durch den Bau der Neuhäuseler Umgehungsstrasse ist leider ein Teil der Beschaulichkeit dahin. Es bleibt dennoch interessant, zu sehen, wie unterschiedlich sich die Bäume in den bald 5 Jahrzehnten ihrer Existenz in Neuhäusel entwickelt haben.

The Neuhäuseler Arboretum was created in 1961-66 by the former Forestry Office Neuhäusel in collaboration with the tree nursery Pein and Pein and later expanded. Today it houses 160 different tree species with more than 500 individuals on an area of 2.1 hectares. In addition, there is a protective strip of Serbian spruce and Sudeten larch. A detailed species inventory is on the u.a. Site to find. Due to the construction of the Neuhäuseler bypass road, part of the tranquility is unfortunately gone. Nevertheless, it remains interesting to see how differently the trees have developed in the almost 5 decades of their existence in Neuhäusel.
