This galvinised metal Truss Bridge crosses the narrow inlet to Cabbage Tree Basin, between Bonnie Vale Camping Area, and the track to Maianbar, in Royal National Park. There are five steps at either end, I assume to allow kayakers the ease to paddle underneath at high tide/or fishermen to pilot their vessel through at 4 knots. The approaches have been reinforced with blocks of faced sandstone, with concrete abutments. The bridge looked all very shinng and new, but not sure how old it is, or what it replaced.

Access: from the eastern side, there is a $12 vehicle access fee, with a walk from the Camping Area, on the track to Maianbar. Or, some difficulty finding somewhere to park in residential Maianbar, and the walking on the rough foot-track to the Bonnie Vale Camping Area.
