The newly remodeled Trail Walmart will reopen to the community as a supercentre on Thursday.
The renovated store will feature a broad assortment of fresh, affordable groceries, general merchandise, and convenient services.
Nicole Quinn is excited to lead the Trail Walmart Supercentre team as the store manager. Quinn has worked at Walmart for more than 20 years, where she first started as a cashier.
“As a supercentre, our everyday low prices will remain the same but our customers now have access to quality, fresh food, and can enjoy an improved grocery shopping experience and even more convenience,” said Quinn.
“We’re so excited about the grand opening and couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than to celebrate with our customers and associates.”
Grand opening festivities will continue on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. when customers can enjoy live music, fun activities and samples.
With the conversion adding more than 20 new positions, the remodeled store now employs 150 full- and part-time associates.
The re-opening of the Trail will happen in conjunction with 14 other supercentre expansion re-openings across Canada this month.
