"Demonstrating the influence of the Prairie School style in the neighborhood, this distinctive residence and accompanying maid's quarters were built in 1914. Exterior materials of brick and cast stone provide artfully patterned details emphasizing the simple geometry of the building. Although the architect remains unknown, the house was first occupied by A.M. Walker."
