Le jardin a été détruit au XIXe siècle et il n'en reste que l'orangerie qui aurait servi de modèle à celle de Versailles. Un billet de Le Nôtre atteste qu'il a participé à leur création.
Elle date des années 1660. Les deux escaliers qui flanquent le bâtiment permettaient d'accéder aux jardins ornés de jets d'eau. Ceux-ci étaient alimentés depuis le moulin de l'Abesse, proche du Pont-Neuf.
Le percement de la route en 1848 amputa l'orangerie du bastion ouest.

The garden was destroyed in the nineteenth century and there remains only the orangery that would have served as a model for that of Versailles. A ticket from Le Nôtre attests that he participated in their creation.
It dates from the 1660s. The two staircases flanking the building allowed access to the gardens adorned with water jets. These were fed from the mill of Abesse, near the Pont Neuf.
The digging of the road in 1848 amputated the orangery of the west bastion.
