The Victorian Free Classical style Bathurst Courthouse was constructed in 1880, three years after the Post Office arm on the left and the Telegraph Office arm on the right. The Courthouse features an octagonal Renaissance dome, a Doric entrance portico and a colonnade of Doric columns across the front of the building.
