Chapman Dam Road PENNDOT disk - Buchers Mills, PA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Found on a small bridge (over Elkhorn Run) along Chapman Dam Road, just before the Chapman State Park, this unmarked PENNDOT survey control disk can be viewed even while driving by (that is how I first noticed it). The disk does not have any unique/identifying characters stamped into it, and I could not find it in any online database.

To find the disk, from US 6 at Clarendon simply drive west on Chapman Dam Road 4.6 miles until you reach the bridge. The mark will be on your left, on the side of the bridge (NE corner). There is room to park along the road at the bridge
