To find the benchmark, park in the public parking lot immediately upstream of the dam (off Kinzua Rd). Walk westerly less than 100 feet to reach the dam. The mark is on the top of the downstream side of the dam, adjacent to a couple additional concrete barriers. There is a "No Parking" sign below the mark, and another sign that reads "WEIGHT LIMIT 20 TONS" right behind the mark.
