On the south side of the Caloosahatchee Canal is the Ortona South Campground as part of the Ortona Lock and Dam operated by the US Army Corp of Engineers. This campground has a very weak hotspot available to campers and day use visitors.

Location is at the restroom/laundry room on the westerly loop of the campground. This hotspot does not have much distance so use is limited to the laundry room. There is counter space for folding cloths to set up a laptop or tablet, however, you need to bring your own chair.

(At the time of this posting we were able to use the hotspot from the parking area in front of the restrooms/laundry)
