Long Description:
Not much can be determined about this train station. It was
originally planned to be a part of the Lake Ontario Shore Railroad
in the mid-1870s. They were unable to keep their financial
obligations and the portion that was built near Oswego was sold in
court to the Rome, Watertown & Ogdensburg Railroad, a
subsidiary of the New York Central-Hudson River Railroad.
The RW&O stretched along the Lake Ontario shore from Oswego to
Niagara Falls. This line was commonly referred to as the "Hojack"
Line. Based on mile markers, the approximate location for this
station was originally
