A scratch sundial on the west corner of the north porch of St Michael's church, Bodenham.

Normally found on a south facing side, the dial 'migrated' here in 1890–91 when the Chancel was re-built and the 14th-century Porch removed from the south side and re-built here on the north side.

"Vertical dials that face North are uncommon, because they tell time only during the spring and summer, and do not show the midday hours except in tropical latitudes (and even there, only around midsummer)."
