The Cascades are two sculptures which represent the nearby Chaudière Falls. The site of the Chaudière Falls is a significant part of indigenous history and culture. One of the two Cascades sculptures is northwest of the O-Train station, the other is southeast of Bayview Station.

Bayview Station is the only link between the original O-Train (Trillium Line) and the new LRT, Confederation Line. Toronto artist Pierre Poussin was commisioned for the placement of these sculptures outside the expanded Bayview Station. In addition to adding a sense of history and nature to the station grounds, public seating is incorporated in the sculptures.

The north sculpture is near the railbed that was once known as the Canadian Pacific's Ellwood sub-division.
