Un vélo fantôme a été installé ce matin à l'angle de la rue Bélanger et de la 6e avenue, où une cycliste de 41 ans a été happée mortellement par un camion, il y a une semaine.
La victime est Meryem Ânoun, mère de trois enfants.
Elle se serait retrouvée dans l'angle mort du poids lourd.

Les trois citoyens à l'origine du vélo peint en blanc veulent susciter la réflexion sur les dangers des véhicules motorisés et commémorer la mémoire de la victime.
C'est le 6e vélo fantôme à être installé dans les rues de Montréal depuis 2013.

A ghost bike was installed at the corner of Bélanger Street and 6th Avenue, where a 41-year-old cyclist was fatally hit by a truck a week ago.
The victim is Meryem Ânoun, mother of three children.
She would have been in the dead angle of the truck.

The three citizens who started the white-painted bicycle want to reflect on the dangers of motorized vehicles and commemorate the memory of the victim.
This is the 6th ghost bike to be installed in the streets of Montreal since 2013.
