"On the Southwest corner of Franklin and Rogers Street is the finest example of the Romanesque Commercial Style on the square (16). Built circa 1898, the building is dominated by a square tower with pyramidal roof on the Northeast corner. The East facade is symmetrical with seven bays in an "ABCACBA" pattern. Composite pilasters in low relief divide each bay of the facade."
