NRHP Nomination Form

"The original building, built by pioneer merchants J. D. and N. I. Dulaney in 1886, was reportedly the first stone building in Sweetwater. In 1901, the First National Bank occupied the building. In response to Sweetwater's growth and prosperity during the next two decades, the bank remodeled the building in the early 1920s.

The First National Bank occupied the building from 1901 until it failed in 1931."
