West of the downtown area, at the corner of W. Broadway and N. Morrow Avenue, Way Park is a two-block area, which once was the focal point of Drumright entertainment. A WPA-built amphitheater offered live entertainment to the folks struggling through the Great Depression.

This is a granite monument dedicated to Fredrick Marion "Fred" Way (12/13/1871 - 4/14/1932). The monument was erected a year after his death, and it is easy to see that he was a revered man in The early days of Drumright. The park is also named after him. Enter the park on N. Morrow Avenue at N35 59.412 W96 36.183.
