In Concord, along Lexington Street, is the church for the First Parish in Concord, Unitarian-Universalist.

The church is located on the west side of the road, about a block south of Monument Square. The church is a squarish building with an ell to the left side. The sides white clapboard. There are two stories of windows down the sides, with black shutters. The front, facing the half-circle driveway and Lexington Road, has a flight of stairs leading to a wide landing. The extended roof is supported by four great columns. The roof has a peak. Toward the front is a clock tower, then a belfry above that, topped by a cupola. There is a bell at ground level inside the driveway circle in front of the church, and a road sign nearby.

Services are Sunday at 10:00 am. Services are typical of churches with a Christian-Protestant tradition. However, as a member of the Unitarian-Unversalist Association, the sermons tend to be less structured and ritualistic.

There is a sign at the front entrance that relates the meetinghouses built by the congregation:

"Meetinghouses of the First Parish in Concord:

First - Built against the ridge of the old burying ground across Lexington Road.

Second - Built in 1673 probably about midway between the present meetinghouse and Wright Tavern, just north of the present site.

Third - Built in 1712 on the present location but with its gable towards Main Street. Remodeled in 1791 with a bell tower. Again remodeled in 1841, turned to face Lexington Road and made to look much as the present. Destroyed by fire in 1900.

Fourth - This meetinghouse built in 1900-1901. The Religious Education ell and Chapel Added in 1955-1956"
