This is the main cemetery serving the town of Stonehaven on the east coast of Scotland. Opened in 1902 to serve an increasing population it is situated to the west of the town on Broomhill Road just north of the Kirktown of Fetteresso. It is named Fetteresso New Cemetery but is also referred to as Broomhill Cemetery.
The cemetery is well kept on a tree-lined sloping site, with most of the gravestones in granite. It is separated from Stonehaven by the town's A90 by-pass which opened in the 1980s.
