"Galveston artist Justin Lopez has spent 50 hours of his free time painting a patriotic mural on the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 880 building at 24th Street and Avenue K in Galveston. After a friend asked Lopez for his talents, he decided that is was a great opportunity to give the VFW some character. Lopez hopes the mural will help people better find the building. While one half of the south wall is nearly done, an eagle awaits color on the other half."
