Many underground can be discovered by walking along the the cliff of the Meuse valley . It actually represents entrances to the quarries of Lanaye and Caestert located under the Saint Pierre mountain between Belgium and the Netherlands. The extraction of tufa, a mixture of chalk and sand, began in the Middle Ages and ended in the 1920s.
It is from one of these entries that a great green snake, ready to bite, unreally comes out.
