Cette porte permettait d'entrer dans la ville par le côté ouest. Elle est mentionnée dans les archives à partir de 1226. Guilhem Pierre, notaire personnel du comte Guillaume IV de Forcalquier (1205-1211), possédait une maison près de cette porte. En 1207, il a été le rédacteur de la charte par laquelle le comte a accordé des privilèges aux habitants de la cité, fondant ainsi la commune de Manosque la porte a été démolie en 1835, puis reconstruite en 1986 pour les fêtes médiévales.

This gate allowed entry into the city from the west side. It is mentioned in the archives from 1226 onwards. Guilhem Pierre, personal notary to Count William IV of Forcalquier (1205-1211), owned a house near this door. In 1207, he was the drafter of the charter by which the count granted privileges to the inhabitants of the city, thus founding the town of Manosque the gate was demolished in 1835, then rebuilt in 1986 for medieval festivals.
