Cette promenade est située sur une partie du tracé de l'ancien chemin de ronde ("bàrri" signifie rempart en Provençal). C'est là qu'a été fondée en 1936 la Maison de l'Agriculture, coopérative agricole départementale, par Louis Martin-Bret, militant dans le milieu paysan et politique. En face du "barri", de l'autre côté du boulevard, se trouve l'école Saint-Charles, Installée à cet endroit depuis 1839.

This walk is located on a part of the old walled path ("bàrri" means rampart in Provençal). It was there that the Maison de l'Agriculture, a departmental agricultural cooperative, was founded in 1936 by Louis Martin-Bret, a peasant and political activist. Opposite the "barriere", on the other side of the boulevard, is the Saint-Charles school, which has been located there since 1839.
