[DE] Dieser Schalenbrunnen befindet sich im Garten des Weidtmanschen Schlösschens im Koblenzer Stadtteil Metternich.
Zum Zeitpunkt meines Besuches war der Brunnen leider schon wegen der frostigen Temperaturen abgestellt. Im angebebenen Link kann jedoch eine Aufnahme betrachtet werden, wenn der Brunnen in Betrieb ist.
Der Brunnen besteht aus einer oberen und unteren Schale. Mittig aufgesetzt wurde eine Maria Immaculata aus Stein. Unterhalb der Steinfigur befinden sich die Ausgänge aus denen das Wasser in die Schalen fließt.
[EN] This bowl fountain is located in the garden of Weidtmanschen Castle in the Koblenz district of Metternich.
At the time of my visit the fountain was already shut down because of the frosty temperatures. In the link you can see a picture of the fountain when it is in operation.
The well consists of an upper and a lower bowl. A Maria Immaculata made of stone was placed in the middle. Below the stone figure are the exits from which the water flows into the bowls.
