Since 1847, there has been an Anglican Church here on lot 28, concession XII, East Zorra township, Oxford county. From 1931, this road was known as Ontario King's Highway 19 and then later Highway 59.

The sign on site mentions the year 1847. This building was actually consecrated in June 1861. In 1847, the congregation was meeting in a log building.

To celebrate the congregation's one-hundredth anniversary, hydro-electricity was added to the church in June 1947.

Apparently, the Diocese of Huron no longer considers this to be an active church. The church is not listed on the diocese web site. The aforementioned sign on site lists special services in June and August.
