FindaGrave.com lists an obituary for Marie Gentry which reads:
Georgie Marie Gentry, 102, died July 11, 2000, of natural causes at Clairmont Residential Care Center in Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Gentry was born in Washington to George and Mary (Rippy) Wainright. She attended elementary school in Everett, high school in Alberta, Canada, and Normal College in Philomath.
She taught school for five years in a one-room school at Spray.
Marie married Karl Gentry at The Dalles on August 23, 1921.
Her husband was a World War I military veteran and received a homestead in the Tulelake area in 1922.
Mrs. Gentry loved playing the piano and gave piano lessons for years. She also loved playing the organ, knitting and reading.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, her daughter, Patty Duncan, her brother, Wendell Wainright and her sisters, Doris, Phoebe and Geraldine.
Cremation was held.
