With the combination of an old Bell Tower (1861/1887), and new brick building (1960), this neighbouring Lutheran Church is right on Light Pass Road.

As mentioned above, there are two dates on the square, stone Bell Tower, obviously from an earlier building. In a white tablet, in a brown brick surround, above the arched double-doorway, is some German inscription, beneath which is 'Light Pass', in italics, and "1861". While immediately to the left of the double-doors is a white tablet, also in a brown brick surround, with the date of "1887". While the Foundation Stone of the new brick Church shows a date of 9 August, 1960.
The worship times for the Strait Gate Church seem to vary, from to week, from their website, being either 9am, or 10:30am on Sundays. Or a Family Service at 6:30pm on Sunday evenings at some times of the month. I'm 'saying' that there is School, on the premises, but it is actually just over the road, beside the Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
