Until recently, the embassy of Egypt was located in a former residential building at 454 Laurier Avenue East. The embassy was in that building since the 1960s.
In November 2018, the embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt is now in the office tower at the southwest corner of Laurier Avenue and Metcalfe Street. Seven other embassies are also located in this office building.
Egypt also operates a consular office in Montreal.
