While this brigade unit was formed in 1957, the current colorbond/corrugated iron shed is much newer, being built in 2003. With a low-angled hip roof, the two large roller doors are off-set to the width of the front of the building, and are the same colour (light green) as the whole building.
When I was there I understood that the photographed building was THE 'Firehouse', but the units webpage shows the whole complex, which I had thought would have been for other Emergency Services (maybe VRA, and SES). It also shows the two Fire Engines; #34 was delivered in 2010.
