It closed by 1989. In 2015 the neon has been restored on the façade of the building and is illuminated at night. The building however, sits vacant.

From The Terror website:Announcement of plans to build a new Crim Theater was made in 1937, and actual construction began in the fall of 1938 with the grand opening held on Wednesday, June 21, 1939, at 8:00pm. It was designed in the streamlined art deco style popular at that time and was called a “modern-classic building.”
