Since the 1970s, the Saint Bernard Cemetery has been surrounded by residential neighbourhoods. The street address is 3701 Albion Road.

Before 1963, the cemetery was known as the St Thomas d'Aquin Cemetery. The cemetery was then a rural location at the southwest corner of lot 7, concession 4, Rideau River Front, Gloucester township. Considering the death dates on many monuments, it is likely that this cemetery was opened about 1901.
