The Bridge Hotel was constructed in 1871 of dressed sandstone with french doors opening onto the first floor verandah. From 1894 the building was used by various banks until 1957, it was purchased by the Rylstone Historical Society in 1964 and is now used as a cafe, shops and accommodation
