Prof. Dr. Michael von Faulhaber (* 5. März 1869 in Heidenfeld; † 12. Juni 1952 in München) wurde 1883 in das bischöfliche Knabenseminar Kilianeum Würzburg aufgenommen und besuchte das Königliche Neue Gymnasium in Würzburg. 1889 trat er in das Priesterseminar, das Kilianeum, in Würzburg ein. Am 1. August 1892 empfing er in Würzburg die Priesterweihe. Anschließend war Faulhaber Kaplan in Kitzingen, danach Priester in Würzburg. 1895 schloß er sein Studium mit einem Doktortitel in Theologie ab, 1903 wurde er Professor für Theologie an der Universität Straßburg. In 1910, Faulhaber was appointed Bishop of Speyer, 1917 folgte seine Ernennung zum Erzbischof von München. 1921 wurde er Kardinal mit dem Titel eines Kardinalpiesters von Sant'Anastasia.

Prof. Dr. Michael von Faulhaber (* March 5, 1869 in Heidenfeld; † June 12, 1952 in Munich) joined in the episcopal seminary Kilianeum Würzburg in 1883 and attended the Royal New Gymnasium in Würzburg. In 1889 he entered the Kilianeum (Catholic) Seminary. On August 1, 1892 he was ordained a priest in Würzburg. Then Faulhaber was chaplain in Kitzingen, then priest in Würzburg. In 1895 he graduated from his studies with a doctorate in theology, in 1903 he became professor of theology at the University of Strasbourg. In 1910, Faulhaber was appointed Bishop of Speyer, in 1917 he was appointed Archbishop of Munich. In 1921 he became a Cardinal, with the title of Cardinal-Priest of Sant'Anastasia.
