DESCRIPTION DE L'OEUVRE

This work is made from materials recovered from waste yards and car cemeteries. By creating unusual and playful assemblages composed of a multitude of consumer products, materials and found objects, the artist is interested in the impact of human activities on their environment and the consequences engendered by our consumption habits. . In this sense, the contortionist confronts the audience and leads them to question the overall impact of daily gestures. By perverting the nature of objects and materials recovered, Philippe Allard seeks to awaken an environmental conscience: "in every work, I speak of a society that continues to consume and self-destruct like a sick person.
