Wie denkt dat Limburg alleen uit heuvels bestaat heeft het mis. Midden in Limburg kun je vlak fietsen in een zeer gevarieerde omgeving. Het ene moment fiets je door de overweldigende bosrijke natuur en het ander moment fiets je door een van de typische Limburgse dorpjes.
Midden-Limburg heeft een uitgebreid fietsknooppuntennetwerk van zo’n 1.000 kilometer met genummerde knooppunten. Dit eenvoudig bewegwijzerde systeem biedt de fietser eindeloos veel routemogelijkheden. Pontjes zetten je de rivier over en een groot deel van de routes zijn autovrij. Uniek aan fietsen in Midden-Limburg is dat het fietsknooppuntennetwerk aansluit op het Duitse- en Belgische netwerk. Op één middag drink je een Belgisch biertje en eet je “Kuchen” in Duitsland.
Midden-Limburg is rijk aan cultureel erfgoed. De diversiteit biedt voor elk wat wils. Via de fietsknooppunten kom je langs vele interessante cultuurhistorische objecten, zoals monumentale boerderijen, goed onderhouden kastelen, mooie kerken, bijzondere molens en op kleine kerkjes lijkende kapellen.

Who thinks that Limburg only consists of hills is wrong. In the middle of Limburg you can cycle flat in a very varied environment. One moment you cycle through the overwhelming wooded nature and the other moment you cycle through one of the typical Limburg villages.
Central Limburg has an extensive cycling hub network of around 1,000 kilometers with numbered junctions. This easily signposted system offers the cyclist endless possibilities for route planning. Ponds take you across the river and a large part of the routes are car-free. Unique to cycling in Central Limburg is that the cycle nodes network connects to the German and Belgian networks. In one afternoon you drink a Belgian beer and you eat "Kuchen" in Germany.
Central Limburg is rich in cultural heritage. The diversity offers something for everyone. Via the cycling junctions you will pass many interesting cultural-historical objects, such as monumental farms, well-kept castles, beautiful churches, special mills and small chapels looking like little churches.
