Until researching this store that has a pair of standing, stone lions at its entrance, I didn't realise that it is one of three by this name in South Australia. The Tanunda store has white lion on either side of the glass door entrance to the furniture and homeware store. Like most pairs they are almost symmetrical, but there is a difference in what their 'facing' front paw is resting on.
The left-hand lion's right-hand paw seems to be resting on cubs head, while the right-hand lion's left-hand front paw is definitely resting on an orb. Both are securely held down with thick steel straps.
