Bethany is a small 'village' (locality) about 2 km southeast of the small town of Tanunda, in the Barossa Valley of South Australia. There are many vineyards in this rural area, and there is a strong Lutheran presence, from the original immigrants from Prussia and Germany in 1842. Some of whom leased land from the early explorer, George Angas. [Some details from Wikipedia: (visit link) ]

[The sign impresses how 'small' Bethany is, with a population of 'only' 300.]
