In südwestlicher Richtung von der Kernstadt Wangen's aus liegt der Weiler Berg direkt gelegen an dem Berg, genannt Berger Höhe, mit seinem Aussichtspunkt.
Der Aussichtspunkt " Berger Höhe" ist zu jeder Jahreszeit ein begehrtes Ziel, so ist im Winter ein Skilift in Betrieb, in der Sylvesternacht sind viele Menschen dort anzutreffen um das Neue Jahr zu begrüßen.
Über die Verbindungsstraße zwischen Wangen und Humbrechts ist mit dem KFZ die Anfahrt zum Aussichtspunkt nur bis zu dem Wanderparkplatz "Berger Höhe"(N 47° 41.297 E 009° 48.933) möglich.
Von dem Parkplatz aus ist der Aussichtspunkt nur zu Fuß zu erreichen.
Die Forststraße die zum Aussichtspunkt führt ist durch eine Schranke versperrt.
Wanderer, Fahradfahrer und Spaziergänger können den Aussichtspunkt über den Wanderweg HW9 erreichen.
Von der Aussichtsplattform auf der Berger Höhe hat man einen Überblick über das Alpenvorland bis hin zu den Alpen.
Richtung Nord-Nordost ist im Vordergrund die 27000 Einwohner zählende Stadt Wangen mit ihren Teilgemeinden zu sehen.
Im Mittelgrund ist das Allgäuer Hügelland das bis an die Alpen heranreicht zu sehen.
Im Hintergrund sieht man im Südosten die Allgäer Alpen und die Berge der Nagelfluhkette.
Im Süden sieht man die Vorarlberger Alpen an die sich in Richtung Südwesten die Schweizer Alpen anschließen.
Auf der Umrandung der Ausichtsplattform wird auf einer Kupfertafel mit Richtungspfeilen die Richtung zu den entsprechenden Bergen angezeigt
