Even though it was fairly late at night, there was was some nice lighting from inside the church, so that this window could be photographed. While it has many rectangular panes of frosted glass, there is also the lead-held coloured pieces to create the scene of Christ hanging on a wooden cross, with nails in his hands and feet. A loin cloth is strategically placed on Him. Wedges are shown, driven in to the rock at the base of the cross, presumably to hold it completely upright.
The church is built of the local bluestone, cemented together, with a Gothic-style. The Church is also open for Holy Communion on Wednesdays from 9:30am, so you may be able to have a look inside the church then.
