"Amboise, etymologically" between two waters ", develops
between the Loire and the Amasse. The river Amasse crosses the
property flowing from East to West.
Château-Gaillard has many sources and one
of which the Gallic source (900 m) is the starting point for
the channeling of an arm of water that runs along the parterres
(location of the old pound) before throwing
in the Amasse.
A hydraulic survey specific to Château-Gaillard could
to be realized in the future. The modern cadastre does not detail
the location of the Gallic spring, nor the river arm
channeled along the flowerbeds. The statement of
Géoportail does not show the meanders of the Amasse upstream
of the property. "
