n August 1904 the railway construction reached Puchenstuben. This started the execution of one of the most difficult sections of the route. It included in particular the stations Puchenstuben and Gösing and in between the 2.4 km long Gösingtunnel, in which lies at 892m above sea level the apex of the train. On October 1, 1904 was the first blast shot for the breakthrough of the tunnel, on 4 December 1905 he was hit. Around 5000 workers were deployed in this section, at least 7 died at work.
At the beginning of 1906 the building in Puchenstuben was completed and the workers left the village again
