In Carver, within the Miles Standish State Forest, is the East Head Reservoir Trail, which has boardwalks along the northern part of the lake.
The trail starts at the southern end of the water body at the headquarters for the Miles Standish State Forest. There is an information booth there where a stationed ranger can tell you all about the trail and a whole lot more if you choose to stick around.
The trail is flat with little elevation change throughout. The round trip is about 2.5 miles long. The waymark is by the nearest access point from a road. However, I don't believe parking is allowed along the road.
The boardwalks are along the trail as it hugs the edge of the pond. There are two long sections, each about 200 ft long, and two shorter sections each less than 100 ft long. The boardwalk has wood planking with no rails.
