This totem in the Dallas neighborhood of Oak Cliff is called “Piece 24”. It took more than a year to complete.

The 17 1/2 foot tall structure was completed in 2017. It was the project of high school students from local schools. Veteran mosaic sculptor Julie Richey worked with them.
At the top of the totem is a hand, with an eye in the palm. Text on the totem says, "Make my hands respect the things you have made".
