The pair comprises a 4.3-meter bronze weathervane made by sculptor Bruce Garner and his wife, Tamaya. Bruce, who died in 2012, did most of the sculpture. Tamaya, also a sculptor, made some of the wax casts, and served as a model for Dagain’s face, hands and feet. Tamaya Garner also invented Dagain’s creation myth.
