In a town that is obsessed with Bear Fever! in the form of over 70 fiberglass bears scattered around the town, I would have expected to see a bear wearing Statue of Liberty garb. But, while bear hunting, I found a real Lady Liberty sitting on a street corner watching traffic flow by. No explanation for her spot there, no information to be found. She just calmly sits there in front of the pet store looking out at the bears who surround her.
