Marianne est une figure symbolique de la République française. Sous l’apparence d’une femme coiffée d’un bonnet phrygien, elle incarne la République française et ses valeurs contenues dans la devise : « Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité ». C'est un important symbole républicain et une icône de la liberté et de la démocratie.
Marianne tient une place d'honneur dans les mairies et les bâtiments officiels de la République française. Elle symbolise Le Triomphe de la République, du nom de la sculpture érigée sur la place de la Nation à Paris. Son profil apparaît sur les documents gouvernementaux officiels, sur les timbres, et sur les pièces de monnaies françaises.

Under the guise of a woman wearing a Phrygian cap, she embodies the French Republic and its values contained in the motto: "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity". It is an important republican symbol and an icon of freedom and democracy.
Marianne holds a place of honour in the town halls and official buildings of the French Republic. It symbolizes the Triumph of the Republic, named after the sculpture erected on the Place de la Nation in Paris. His profile appears on official government documents, stamps, and French coins. At the foot, marble plaque, the text:
