A peace dove incorporated into a stained glass window in the Methodist Chapel, Holywell Road, Cubert.
When congregations dwindled in the old methodist chapel of 1848 next door, and overheads became a problem it was decided to refurbish the Sunday School that was built on to the chapel in 1894: This was accomplished through sheer determination and prayer and the new chapel was opened on Pentecost Sunday 2012.
The window above the entrance bears the year the new chapel was opened and a white dove in a shaft of light on a blue background depicted in a stained glass panel.
Kind of dove: Dove without olive branch, but with some clear connection to concepts of peace
