Simple, yet poignant marker to those Canadians who served and in some cases died during the Korean War between 1950 and 1955.
The Canadian military contributed 26,000 troops, and 8 destroyers. 512 Canadians died during the conflict and after the armistice, when Canada provided observers.
The marker is located in the Remembrance Garden Veterans Memorial park, dedicated in 2015.
