In this former two-room school house, the Post Meeting takes place on the first Monday of each month at 19h30. The telephone number is 518-674-2309. The post's facebook page has not been used since 2010.

This legion post dates back to October 1931. It was named to honor Sergeant Walter A Adams who was killed in action in France, 10 October 1918. Adams was from Averill Park. Adams' memorial is in the Sand Lake Union Cemetery.
