Der rund 3 Kilometer lange Bobengrüner Planetenweg beginnt im Froschbachtal am Mühlberg in Bobengrün und ist ganzjährlich begehbar.

Am CVJM-Haus (hier befinden sich auch Parkplätze) befindet sich das Modell des Zentralgestirns der Sonne, die mit einer symbolischen Umlaufbahn des Mondes um die Erde versehen ist.

So erkennt man, wie winzig unser blauer Planet im Vergleich ist.

Wer sich auf den 3 Kilometer langen Weg durch Bobengrün und Horwagen bis zum Gerlaser Forsthaus macht, kommt an Planetensäulen von Merkur, Venus, Erde, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus und Neptun vorbei, die nachts sogar leuchten.

Unterwegs im Sonnensystem - der Bobengrüner Planetenweg- Station Venus

Von der Sonne bis zur Erde ist es ein Katzensprung, gerade mal 83 Meter.

Bis zum Neptun, dem von der Sonne am weitest entfernten Planeten sind es dagegen knapp drei Kilometer - zumindest auf dem Bobengrüner Planetenweg.

Denn hier, im größten Ortsteil von Bad Steben, kann man anschaulich und in maßstabsgetreuer Verkleinerung im Verhältnis von 1:1,817 Milliarden den Planeten unseres Sonnensystems folgen.

Viewpoint Venus

The roughly 3-kilometer-long so-called 'Bobengrüner Planetary trail', begins in the Frogground on the Millhill in Bobengrün and can be walked on all year round.

At the YMCA house (where there are also parking lots) is the model of the central star of the sun, which is provided with a symbolic orbit of the moon around the earth.
