The two storey Convent building was constructed in 1894 from locally quarried sandstone, the Convent closed in the 1920's owing to the decline in the districts populace and a new Convent opening in Parkes.
At present the building is in a very run-down state with the entire eastern wall missing and part of the roof is missing
